I Didn’t Steal or Cheat

I hadn’t eaten that day. So my friends said, “We’re going to go and steal some mangoes.” And honestly, I was hungry. I was tempted to do it, but I followed the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and resisted. After that, I went home and ate.

If you’re not strong in your faith, you’ll go along with what other people do and forget who you are. Don’t follow the wrong example.

Another time, during a math test, there was a girl who wasn’t feeling well. Some people went with her to the nurse’s office, and they left their test papers. I was tempted to look at their papers to get a good grade. But the Holy Spirit guided me, and I did my own test. I didn’t get a perfect score, but I didn’t cheat, and I was proud of my grade.

We must always do as Jesus Christ would because He is the light.
