“I can be an example all the time by wearing the Young Women medallion, humming the hymns at school, and posting scriptures and photos of the temple. These things make my friends curious. Then they’ll ask me what it’s all about, and I’ll feel comfortable sharing my beliefs with them—this makes me very happy!”

“Sometimes I feel awkward sharing my beliefs when I’m talking to others. However, 1 Corinthians 2:13 reminds me that we share our testimony under the guidance of the Holy Ghost. By inviting the Spirit, we can naturally share our beliefs and the things in our hearts with other people.”

“I have a hard time sharing my beliefs because of the fear of being rejected or ignored. When the questions come, I try to be happy, embrace my testimony, and trust in Jesus Christ. My mother taught me that if I’m trying to be like Christ, even if I don’t manage to say much, others will see what I believe by the way I live.”

“I talk about my beliefs more easily when people around me ask me questions about what I say and what I do. For example, they ask me why I don’t say bad words or why I don’t play on Sundays or why I close my eyes and bow my head before eating at the cafeteria.”

“Sharing the gospel can be as simple as showing Christlike love to those around you—sharing a scripture verse with a friend who’s going through a hard time or including someone. Just be a good example and follow Jesus’s example and you’ll become more comfortable sharing the gospel every day.”
