He Lives!

Doctrine and Covenants 76:22–24

22 And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives!

23 For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father—

24 That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.

he lives!

Prophets and apostles are witnesses of Jesus Christ. They witness that He suffered, died, and lives again today.

we saw him

On February 16, 1832, Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon saw Jesus Christ in a vision.

right hand

In Bible cultures, the right hand was the place of honor at a feast or solemn occasion. It was often given to the heir of the kingdom or house.

the Only Begotten of the Father

Jesus Christ was born on earth. Mary was His mother, and through a miracle, Heavenly Father was the father of His physical body. Jesus Christ was the only person ever born in this way. This helped make Him able to be our Savior.

the worlds are and were created

Jesus Christ is the Creator. He created this world and other worlds.

inhabitants thereof

There are children of Heavenly Father on other worlds, and Jesus Christ is their Savior too.
