Seeds

My family planted broccoli,

Turnips, and tomatoes,

Carrots, corn, and cauliflower,

Parsley, and potatoes.

My family planted rows of beans,

Beets, and sugar peas,

Lettuce, squash, and spinach,

Flowers, shrubs, and trees.

My family planted many seeds

As the sun beamed up above.

But the best seeds that we planted

Were the seeds of family love.
