Beautiful Savior

It’s fun to teach your family a song you have learned or are learning in Primary. These pictures will help you and your family remember the words to “Beautiful Savior” (Children’s Songbook, pages 62–63).

Instructions

  1. Enlarge the pictures on pages 14 and 15 (if you desire), mount on heavy paper or cardboard, color the pictures, then cut them out (leave words attached).

  2. As you sing the words to the song, place the pictures around the picture of the Savior, as shown below.

Beautiful Savior

1. Fair is the sunshine,

Fairer the moonlight

And all the stars in heav’n above;

Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer

And brings to all the world his love.

2. Fair are the meadows,

Fairer the woodlands,

Robed in the flowers of blooming spring;

Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer.

He makes the sorrowing spirit sing.

3. Beautiful Savior! Lord of the nations!

Son of God and Son of Man!

Thee will I honor, praise, and give glory,

Give praise and glory evermore! Evermore!
