In the Garden

By Ruth R. Harmon

Squash, tomatoes, purple beets

Are some of nature’s garden treats.

Sun and rain will help them grow.

The weeds are dug up with a hoe.

A shed is there to store the tools.

Put them back—obey the rules!

Lettuce, carrots, potatoes, too,

Can then be harvested by you.
