Scripture Figure

In retelling scripture stories, this figure can represent any woman or girl in the scriptures, such as Esther, one of the ten virgins, or a handmaiden. Figure should be mounted on lightweight cardboard, colored, cut out, then made into either stick puppet, paper sack puppet, or flannel board figure (see the June 1986 Friend, page 37). Make several figures, and color hair and clothing differently for each one. Watch for another scripture figure next month.
