In the Spotlight

• Grant, David, Jennifer, and Jeffrey Whitmer are setting a record at the U.S. Naval Academy. This is believed to be the first time that four siblings have been enrolled at the academy together. Their parents are Grant and Connie Cook Whitmer of the Rutland Branch, Montpelier Vermont Stake.

• Three Latter-day Saints are making a contribution to the community of Kamloops, British Columbia. Mayor Clifford Branchflower of the Kamloops Second Ward, Vernon British Columbia Stake, has been aided in some of his civic duties by Miss Kamloops 1997–98, Chantelle Arnold, of the Kamloops Second Ward, and Princess Kelly Clark, of the Kamloops First Ward.
