Respect Others
- Please be kind and respectful of other visitors to the site.
- Respect missionaries by being attentive as they give tours.
- Clean up after yourselves, put away interactive activities, and dispose of trash properly.
- Respect cars and use sidewalks.
- Respect private properties that are not part of the historic sites.
Respect Buildings
- Please be respectful of the buildings at the site, especially the historic buildings.
- Respect gated-off areas and historical artifacts, furniture, and walls in the buildings.
Respect Landscapes
- Stay on designated paths or sidewalks.
- Refrain from harming trees, plants, and other landscape features.

Can I bring food and drink into the visitors’ center or the historic homes?
Can I bring food and drink into the visitors’ center or the historic homes?
Food and drink are not allowed indoors. Baby bottles and water bottles with closable lids are allowed inside the historic homes and visitors’ center.

Trained service animals are allowed wherever a person can go at the historic sites, including in historic buildings.

Emotional support, comfort, or companion animals are not allowed at the historic sites.

Pets are not allowed at the historic sites. Pets on leashes are welcome at the nearby parks. Check the local government website for details.

If you’re coming with a large group, you will need to complete the Group Reservation Request for the Ohio Historic Sites . A missionary will contact you to follow up and finalize your reservation. The Ohio Historic Sites operate in English. Depending on availability of missionaries at the site, tours in Spanish and Portuguese may be available upon request. Please call 1-440-256-9805 ahead of time to verify availability of tours, then check in with the missionaries at the visitors’ center when you arrive for language assistance.
