Yes! Definitely. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. He loves us all more than we can imagine. Does that mean we have exactly the same beliefs as other Christian churches? No. But we definitely consider ourselves devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ loves each one of us individually, and the way He shares His love is just as personal. His love is easier to find when we create moments to seek it out, whether by praying or by studying His words in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Another way you can feel His love is by sharing your love with others. The Bible teaches that as we live in peace with one another, we can feel Jesus Christ’s love for us.

Jesus Christ’s teachings cover a broad range of topics, including love, service, prayer, and repentance. Here are a few well-known teachings that can guide your life:

Jesus Christ’s teachings in the Bible

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Matthew 22:37).

“Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22:39).
