Quiet as Starlight

By Sharon Price Anderson

Quiet as starlight,

sweeter than

sugarplums,

warm as Christmas

memories,

welcome as a candle

in the window

guiding me home,

soft as lamb’s wool,

still as peace,

the Spirit speaks.
