Lead the Way: Host a Taking Charge of Technology Event or Activity
Taking Charge of Technology events or activities are engaging gatherings designed to help youth, parents, and leaders learn together how to use technology with greater purpose, balance, and spiritual awareness. These events create space for meaningful conversation, youth-led teaching, and shared experiences centered on the principles of purpose, plan, and pause. Participants can watch videos, engage in small group discussions, and receive tangible reminders to reinforce the message at home. These events can be held in class or in fifth-Sunday gatherings, or at youth activities, camps, or conferences. They are typically supported by youth leaders, bishopric members, and the youth themselves. For more help, please see Teaching Resources in the Taking Charge of Technology guide.
For Parents of Primary-age children, please see Taking Charge of Technology for Children: A Guide for Parents and Primary Children under "Teaching Children" in the "Children" section of Gospel Library.
