Isaiah 40–49
Isaiah 40–49
Overview
Many Israelites in Isaiah’s day looked to and worshiped sources other than God. Isaiah helped them understand the Savior’s constant loving kindness and that those who turn to Him have no need to fear.
Teach from the scriptures and words of latter-day prophets. When teachings are based on the scriptures and words of latter-day prophets, students will be more likely to feel the Holy Ghost testify of the truths they are learning. You can find an example of how to do this in Lesson 121: “Isaiah 49.”
For more on how the Savior did this, see “The Savior Taught from the Scriptures” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 21).
