Exodus 14–18
Exodus 14–18
Overview
After the children of Israel left Egypt, they found themselves trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army. The Lord miraculously delivered them by opening a path through the sea on dry ground. In the wilderness, the Lord taught, protected, and provided for the Israelites through strengthening them in battle and through miraculous water and food, including manna.
Help learners take responsibility for their learning. When learners use their agency to actively participate in the learning process, they are more likely to feel the converting influence of the Holy Ghost. To learn more how the Savior did this, see “The Savior Helped Others Take Responsibility for Their Learning” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 24–25). An example of helping students take responsibility for the learning can be found in Lesson 46: “Exodus 15, 17.”
