Moses 1; Abraham 3
Moses 1; Abraham 3
Overview
Moses 1 and Abraham 3 recount prophets’ experiences with the Lord. The Lord showed Abraham that, in the premortal life, He called rulers to help us. The Lord taught Moses that He was a child of God who had a work to do, and that it was the Lord’s “work and glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man” (Moses 1:39). Moses also overcame Satan’s temptations.
Create a safe environment where all are respected and know their contributions are valued. Sharing sincere compliments and praising students’ contributions in class can increase their willingness to participate in the lesson. To learn more, see “Love Those you Teach” in Teaching in the Savior’s Way. An example of how to do this can be found in the lesson “Abraham 3.”
