第43章：耶穌使拉撒路復生

有個人名叫拉撒路，他和馬利亞、馬大兩姊妹住在伯大尼。耶穌愛拉撒路和他的兩個姊妹，他們也愛耶穌。

拉撒路病得很嚴重，救主這時候卻在另一個城市。馬利亞和馬大請人告訴救主，說拉撒路生病了。

The Savior asks His disciples to go with Him to help Lazarus - ch.43-3

救主要門徒和祂一起去幫助拉撒路。門徒不敢去伯大尼，因為那裡靠近耶路撒冷，耶路撒冷有些人想殺害耶穌。

Jesus tells His disciples that Lazarus is dead, but He will bring him back to life - ch.43-4

耶穌告訴門徒，拉撒路死了，祂說祂要使他從死裡復生；這樣的神蹟會幫助門徒知道祂就是救主。耶穌於是前往伯大尼，祂到達那裡的時候，拉撒路已經死了四天。

馬大告訴耶穌，如果祂早幾天來，拉撒路就不會死了。耶穌說拉撒路會再活過來。祂問馬大相不相信祂，馬大說她相信，她知道耶穌是救主。

馬大離開耶穌去找她的妹妹馬利亞。馬利亞也去找耶穌，許多人跟著她去。馬利亞跪下來，在救主跟前哭泣，和她同去的人也都哭了。耶穌問拉撒路的身體在哪裡。

耶穌來到埋葬拉撒路的洞，洞前有一塊大石頭，祂叫人把石頭挪開。

耶穌抬頭望著天，感謝天父垂聽祂的禱告。

然後，耶穌大聲呼叫，要拉撒路從洞穴裡出來。拉撒路走了出來，許多看到這個神蹟的人這時候都相信耶穌確實是救主。
