迷失的兒子

有一個人有兩個兒子，他答應在他死了以後把錢財留給他們。小兒子不想等，所以要求父親把他該得的那一部分錢給他，他的父親就把錢給他了。

小兒子拿了錢離開了家，到另一個地方去。他一次又一次地犯罪，把錢都花光了。

最後，這個兒子沒有錢買食物吃，非常饑餓，於是向一個人求助，那個人就雇用他去餵豬。

大兒子很生氣，不肯進屋子裡，他父親就出來和他談話。

這位父親說，他很感謝大兒子一直陪伴在他身旁，他所擁有的一切都是大兒子的。他又說，他們應該好好慶祝，因為他很高興他的小兒子已經悔改、回家了。

耶穌講了三個比喻給法利賽人聽，因為祂希望他們明白天父是多麼愛每一個人。祂愛服從祂的人。天父也愛罪人，但是罪人如果不悔改，天父便無法祝福他們。天父希望罪人都能悔改，並且回到祂的身邊。祂也希望我們幫助罪人悔改，並且在他們回頭的時候，為他們感到快樂。
