New Resources

Resources have recently been made available to help members live the gospel, strengthen their families, and administer Church responsibilities.

Old Testament Stories

This picture book now has refreshed illustrations and writing that will help families in their home study. The revised book has more than 350 new illustrations. All previous stories have been rewritten, nine stories have been added, and the book has been translated into 63 languages. Animated videos and audio narrations have been developed in 10 languages for each story. Old Testament Stories and its accompanying videos are available online at scripturestories.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, in the Gospel Library and the Gospel for Kids apps, and on YouTube. The print version can be obtained through store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org or at distribution centers.

Muslims and Latter-day Saints: Beliefs, Values, and Lifestyles

This new pamphlet introduces Muslims (followers of Islam) and Latter-day Saints to each other. It was first presented by Elders David A. Bednar and Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles during a conference on Islam at Brigham Young University in October 2021. The pamphlet is available in the Gospel Library (at ChurchofJesusChrist.org or in the mobile app) in Arabic, English, Farsi, French, German, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. In the Gospel Library, go to Books and Lessons and then open Interfaith Relations.

Scholarship Opportunity

BYU–Pathway Worldwide is now offering a scholarship opportunity to every student, based on need. There is no academic performance requirement to qualify for the scholarship. Enrolled PathwayConnect students must simply complete an informational module.

Finding Strength in the Lord: Emotional Resilience

This self-reliance course is now available in Albanian, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

Calling Guides

New leadership-calling guides help Young Women leaders to mentor youth. To find the guides in the Gospel Library, go to Handbooks and Callings, followed by Ward or Branch Callings and then Young Women. Additional resources can be found at YoungWomen.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

Contact Information

Latter-day Saints who served a mission since 2000 can now share their contact information with their former mission leaders through a new mission directory in the Member Tools app. By opting in, a former missionary allows mission leaders to see his or her name and contact information. Mission leaders can then use this information to communicate with missionaries, both individually and as a group.

Gospel for Kids

This YouTube channel is now available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. The new Gospel Library section called Children allows children to engage with stories, videos, and interactive activities.

General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The latest revisions are now complete in English, with other languages to follow during 2022.
