Appearance Isn’t Everything

It’s silly, but the world tells us that our appearance is everything.

“If you’re not fashionable, you’re nobody.”

So many youth struggle with this because there’s so much shame around it. But we should learn not to live our lives by what others say. I say to other youth struggling with this: Make Jesus Christ the only Master of your life.

Jesus Christ understands our pain and suffering. He helps and consoles us. I encourage everyone to pray, fast, and follow the commandments to find Christ and not become lost in this world. Spend more time in holy places, at church, with family, and with young people who look unto Christ.
