Manila Philippines Temple

• This was the first temple built in the Philippines and the second in Asia.

• The Philippines Missionary Training Center is across the street.

• Before the temple dedication, there were two typhoons, a volcanic eruption, and an earthquake! But the temple was safe.

Stockholm Sweden Temple

• This temple is closed right now to make it almost twice as big.

• This was the first temple built in Scandinavia.

• During the dedicatory prayer, President Gordon B. Hinckley prayed that the temple would be “a haven of refuge from the world.”

Winnipeg Manitoba Temple

• Manitoba’s official flower, the prairie crocus, is used in some of the designs.

• The spire is made of copper.

• Elder Gerrit W. Gong dedicated this temple. He said, “You will find the Savior at the center of everything connected to the temple.”
