In the Bible we read how John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ. John the Baptist had the Aaronic Priesthood—God’s authority to baptize. Jesus was baptized to set an example for us.

With the Aaronic Priesthood on the earth, we can be baptized like Jesus Christ was. We can repent from bad choices and be clean again.
