Come, Follow Me Activities for Little Ones

For Easter

Tell your little ones the story of the first Easter. You can use the picture on pages 24–25. Ask your children to point to the Savior. Help them say, “Easter is about Jesus Christ!”

For Matthew 15–17; Mark 7–9

Help your little ones make a heart out of playdough or clay. Tell them that when we follow Jesus, our hearts can feel close to Him.

Tell your little ones how Jesus Christ loves children and often gathered them around Him (see Matthew 18:1–5). Hold your little ones close and sing “I Feel My Savior’s Love” (Children’s Songbook, 74–75).

For John 7–10

Have your little ones look into a mirror. Tell them that Jesus knows their names, what they look like, what makes them happy, and what makes them sad. Help your little ones say, “Jesus knows me and loves me.”
