Finland is a country in Northern Europe. It has about 5.5 million people.
A Family Tradition
Many families stay in a lake cottage each summer. They cook over a fire, sit in the sauna (steam bath), and relax in nature.

A common breakfast food is bread cheese (also called “Finnish squeaky cheese”). People grill it and eat it with cloudberry jam.
Learning Together
At church, these children learn about Jeesus Kristus. That’s how you say “Jesus Christ” in Finnish!
Did You Know?
The region of Lapland has more reindeer than people! It’s also one of the best places to see the northern lights.
Helsinki Temple
Finland has a beautiful temple in its capital city, Helsinki.
