Somebody Loves You

On the way to my new job, I started to worry.

What if I’m not good enough? I thought as I rode the bus. What if they think I can’t do a good job?

Then I had a clear feeling: Try your best. Even if it doesn’t go well, there’s somebody who loves you.

I thought about my husband. I knew he would love me even if my job didn’t go well. And then I thought about Jesus Christ. I knew that He would always love me. I could feel it in my heart. I said a simple prayer asking Heavenly Father to help me.

When I got to work, I did my best. When I made a mistake, I just kept trying. I remembered that someone still loved me.

Jesus loves you too! We know that Jesus loves children because of how He treated them. One day some parents brought their young children to see Jesus. But the disciples said they shouldn’t bother Him.

Jesus didn’t agree. He said the parents should let the little children come to Him. Then “he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them” (Mark 10:16).

Always remember that Jesus loves you. Heavenly Father loves you too. They know you by name. They would love to take you in Their arms and bless you.

Even if things don’t go well, keep trying. Pray for help and do your best. Remember, no matter what, there’s somebody who always loves you.
