Paper Sack Pumpkin

By Julie Wardell

To make a pumpkin, you will need: any size paper sack, crayons, old newspapers, and ribbon.

  1. Color the top third of the sack green, and the bottom two-thirds orange.

  2. Draw eyes, nose, and mouth on the lower half of the paper sack.

  3. Crumple up pieces of newspaper, and stuff the sack two-thirds full.

  4. Gather the top of the paper sack, and tie it with the ribbon.
