Power Break

To break a string, or even a fishline, with nothing but your hands, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Wrap one end of the line around your right hand exactly as shown.

    Power Break
  2. Grasp the remaining line about 2′ (60 cm) from the intersection (X), and wrap it around your left hand a few times.

  3. Curl both hands into fists, and simultaneously yank to the right with the right hand and to the left with the left hand. The line will break at X.
