Notice Anything Different?

By Mary Winklebleck

I lost two teeth, two baby teeth,

The ones right here in front—see?

Daddy helped me pull them out,

Which left two holes for me.

I’ll have to keep these holes until

My grown-up teeth are showing.

And then I’ll have a brand-new smile

To prove how much I’m growing!
