Kitchen Krafts

Chipped Beef and Cheese Sandwiches

1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese

2 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise

5 ounces (142 g) chipped beef

1/4 cup chopped pickles

1 tablespoon grated onion

2 tablespoons chopped celery

12 slices bread


  1. Mix cheese and mayonnaise together, then stir in beef, pickles, onions, and celery.

  2. Spread mixture on six slices of bread; top each with lettuce and slice of bread.

Vegetable Picks






  1. Cut vegetables into small chunks.

  2. Alternate pieces of vegetable on each toothpick.

Frothy Soft Drink

Fill glass 2/3 full with soft drink, then stir in 2 tablespoons powdered milk.

Fruit in a Cone

Fill ice-cream cone with cut-up fruit such as bananas, apples, strawberries, peaches, or melon. Sprinkle powdered or brown sugar on top.
