Color Viewers

To see the world in different colors, you will need: empty egg carton, scissors, colored cellophane, tape, pencil, and two 15″ (38 cm) pieces of yarn or string.

  1. Cut two connecting egg cups from carton. Cut bottom out of each cup.

  2. Cut two 3″ (7.5 cm) circles from cellophane. Place cellophane over holes in egg cups, and tape edges (see illustration). Make separate color viewer for each color of cellophane used. Try combining colors too!

  3. Use pencil to punch hole in each side of viewer. Tie one end of each piece of yarn to one hole, then place viewer in front of your eyes and tie other ends of yarn together at back of head.
