West Grove

West Grove from a distance

Introduction

The Temple City tour includes a viewing of the West Grove. This grove of trees is currently regenerating after recent replanting. Once the trees have had time to mature, guests may walk through this space, where Joseph Smith gave some of his most memorable Nauvoo sermons.

What to Expect

The West Grove is currently not open to visitors. It can be viewed from the Edward and Ann Hunter Home, which includes an interpretive sign. It can also be viewed from a distance when driving down Mulholland Street.
