Personal Life
Michael T. Ringwood was born in Provo, Utah, on February 14, 1958. He married Rosalie Nelson in December 1982. They are the parents of five children.
He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Brigham Young University in 1983.
He has served in a number of Church callings, including a full-time missionary in the Korea Seoul Mission, bishop, high councilor, high priests group leader, Scoutmaster, stake president and mission president.
Professional Life
Elder Michael T. Ringwood is currently serving at Church headquarters as Executive Director of the Priesthood and Family Department and as a member of the Priesthood and Family Executive Committee.
In 1986 he became vice president of the Huntsman Corporation and remained there for 14 years. In 2000 he was named president of Bear Creek Foods and more recently as president and chief financial officer of Packsize LLC. In addition, he was a member of the board of advisers at the BYU School of Accountancy.
