Edward Dube

Elder Edward Dube was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 2013. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy in the Africa Southeast Area. Following his call, he served as an assistant in the Africa West Area, the North America Southeast Area, and as President of the Africa South Area. He also served as an Assistant Executive Director in the Temple Department, Priesthood and Family Department, and Family History Department and as a member of the Boundary and Leadership and CES Committees.

Elder Dube began service as a member of the Presidency of the Seventy on August 1, 2024. He currently assists a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in supervising the United States Southeast, Caribbean, and United States Southwest Areas.

Elder Dube has served in several Church callings, including full-time missionary in Zimbabwe, district president, branch president, stake president, president of the Zimbabwe Harare Mission, and Area Seventy.

Elder Dube received a diploma in education in 1992 from Zimbabwe D.E. College and studied entrepreneurship at the University of South Africa in 2003. He has worked in many positions for the Church Educational System in Africa for over 15 years.

Edward Dube was born in Chirumhanzu, Zimbabwe, on May 12, 1962. He married Naume Keresia Salizani on December 9, 1989. They are the parents of four children.
