Introduction

All are invited to the open house for the McAllen Texas Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Temples are sacred buildings designed to help God’s children feel close to Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. Come feel the peace and serenity of the beautiful grounds, architecture, and original artwork. Once the temple is dedicated, entrance is reserved for members of the Church, so this open house is a unique opportunity to tour this sacred space in the community.

Admission

Wheelchair accessible. Comfortable shoes and modest dress are recommended. Service animals are not permitted in the temple. Please refrain from smoking on temple property.

Friday, August 25 - Saturday, September 9, 2023 (Except Sundays).

Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm
Saturdays 9am - 8pm

Overflow parking and shuttle service will be provided on Saturday, August 26th, Saturday, September 2nd, Monday, September 4th and Saturday, September 9th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Overflow parking is located at DHR Hospital: 4200 W. Alberta Rd., McAllen, TX 78504

Duration

The open house includes a short video and walking tour that lasts about 50 minutes.
