Lori Draper

Relief Society Advisory Council Member

Lori Draper was born in Salt Lake City to Ron and Barbara Veach. She received a bachelor’s degree in health promotion from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University. Sister Draper works as a social worker for Family Services in Salt Lake City and has worked for Family Services in New York City. She and her husband, Malcolm Draper, are the parents of three children.

Prior to her call to the Relief Society general advisory council, Sister Draper served a mission to North Carolina and as a stake and ward Relief Society president and counselor, ward Young Women president, and early-morning seminary teacher. She has also served in additional ward and stake callings.

Sister Draper enjoys spending time with her family and being in nature or riding her bike. One of her many favorite scriptures is Romans 8:16–18: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. . . . For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (verses 16, 18).
