Andrea Veronica Muñoz Spannaus

Relief Society Advisory Council Member

Andrea Veronica Muñoz Spannaus was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Carlos Alberto Muñoz and Elida Menicucci Norton. She joined the Church at the age of nine with her family. She served a full-time mission in the Argentina Resistencia Mission. She earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and also studied art and interior design. She married Alin Spannaus in the Buenos Aires Argentina Temple in 1992. They have two daughters.

Prior to her call to the Relief Society general advisory council, Sister Spannaus served as an early-morning seminary teacher, in ward and stake leadership, and on the South America South Area committee to organize For the Strength of Youth conferences. She and her husband served as mission leaders in the Mexico Cuernavaca Mission (2009–2012). Most recently, she was serving as an adviser in a young single adult Spanish-speaking ward.

Sister Spannaus loves doing family history and attending the temple. She also loves to spend time with family and friends, to travel and learn about different cultures, to dance, and to feel the peace of nature.

Sister Spannaus deeply admires the power that comes when a person truly believes that we are all children of a loving God.
