Project Growth and Identify Trends

The DTA and his staff work closely with priesthood leaders to provide statistics and to project future membership and attendance totals. Priesthood leaders can help improve accuracy of projections by providing detailed information about their ecclesiastical plans and efforts and pertinent information that is only available locally.

Master planning is more effective when everyone works together to create realistic projections and when priesthood leaders are clear about the number of wards, branches, and stakes that will be created or discontinued over the five-year period of the plan.
