Overseeing Patriarchs

Area, stake, and mission presidents may perform the following tasks on behalf of patriarchs assigned to their unit.

• View patriarch assignments.
• Complete patriarch work.

View Patriarch Assignments

Click Patriarchs to see the functioning or nonfunctioning status of each assigned patriarch.

Complete Patriarch Work

In case of death or incapacitation, an area, stake, or mission president may need to complete blessings on behalf of a patriarch who is no longer able. To manage the work of a patriarch, click on the name of the patriarch in the assignment list. This allows you to view a detailed description of the patriarch and his calling history. To complete and submit blessings on behalf of a patriarch, click Proxy as Patriarch.
