New Sizing for Women’s Garments

Purpose

As new garment styles and fabrics have been developed, sizing has also been improved to make women’s garments easier to fit and more comfortable. Some benefits of the new sizing will include:

  • Greater size consistency across fabrics.
  • Alignment with industry sizing standards.
  • A more tailored fit for a wider range of sisters.

The new sizing is currently available with Dry Stretch and Light Nylon fabrics. Over time, all women’s garments will transition to use the new sizing so that every fabric and style reflects these improvements. Men’s sizing remains the same.

  • New sizing names will include both the alpha size (S, M, L, etc.) and reference the traditional US women’s dress size (6-8).
    • Example: “S 6-8" or “L 14-16”
  • If you only see the alpha size (S), that is not the new sizing.
