As a ward or stake leader, you are a steward of sensitive information. It is important that you share this information only with those who need it to fulfill their callings and assignments.
Forward your questions regarding privacy laws or legal requests for accessing membership information to the relevant authority:
On ChurchofJesusChrist.org, your Church Account username and password are used to access general Church information and resources, including Church Unit Banking Services (CUBS) and Leader and Clerk Resources.
Choose a strong password that is:
Long | Contains at least eight characters or better, is a longer but easy to remember phrase. |
Unique | Significantly differs from passwords you use elsewhere. |
Private | Does not contain your name, username, or company name. |
Confidential | Is not shared with others. |
The Church uses security features to protect information that is stored or transmitted using Church applications, including CUBS.

Be wise | Listen to the Spirit and trust your instincts. Be on the lookout for details that do not make sense. |
Be cautious | Be skeptical of any message that you did not request or initiate. If the message does not feel right, do not do what it asks. |
Be discreet | Do not post detailed information about your calling on social media, including your assignments, any application or system access details, or Church financial information, such as budget details. |
