Attend or Watch Cultural Events.
Learning about various cultures will help children have a better understanding of all of Heavenly Father’s children.
Idea #1: Take children to attend a musical or artistic event in your community that is “virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy” (Articles of Faith 1:13) or watch one online.
Idea #2: Plan an activity or home evening about a different culture and attend an event that celebrates that culture.
Idea #3: Take children to visit a museum in your area. After your visit, ask them to tell you about something they learned.
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. —Articles of Faith 1:13
