Trust See also Confidence; Faith To rely upon or place confidence in someone or something. In spiritual matters, trust includes relying on God and His Spirit. Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him, Job 13:15. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, Prov. 3:5. God delivered his servants that trusted in him, Dan. 3:19–28. I will trust in thee forever, 2 Ne. 4:34. Rejoice and put your trust in God, Mosiah 7:19. Whoever puts his trust in God shall be lifted up at the last day, Mosiah 23:22. Whoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, Alma 36:3, 27. Trust not in the arm of flesh, D&C 1:19. Put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good, D&C 11:12.
