Come, Follow Me
Ordinances and Covenants
You’ll be studying about ordinances and covenants in your Sunday classes this month. As you study and discuss this topic, you may ponder these questions: How can honoring my covenants help me follow the Savior? How can I better understand the plan of happiness?
For some answers to these questions, read the scriptures listed in the Topical Guide under “Covenants,” “New and Everlasting Covenant,” and “Ordinance.” You can also find teachings on ordinances and covenants in the April 2015 general conference talks at conference.lds.org, including the following:
-
“Therefore They Hushed Their Fears,” by Elder David A. Bednar
-
“Stay by the Tree,” by Elder Kevin W. Pearson
Our protections in this life and for eternity will be in individual and family righteousness, Church ordinances, and following the Savior.
