  11. Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the cross to Calvary.

  12. Jesus enters Jerusalem in triumph.

  13. Jesus probably spends a day of rest with his friends at Bethany.

  14. Jesus is buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea.

  15. Jesus is taken to the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, about 6:00 A.M.

  16. Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemane.

  17. Jesus victoriously rises from the dead.

  18. Soldiers part Jesus’ garments.

  19. Jesus teaches in the temple and on the Mount of Olives.

  20. Herod returns Jesus to Pilate, who releases Barabbas and delivers Jesus to be crucified.

  21. Around midnight, Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss, and Jesus is arrested by the chief priests, scribes, and elders.
