Thank goodness for Christmas!
It’s then that we do
The nice things we should do
The busy year through
Like writing to friends,
And keeping in touch,
And helping all people
Who need friends so much.

Thank goodness for Christmas!
It makes us reflect
On thoughts we are sometimes
Inclined to neglect
Like peace on the earth,
And love for all men.
It’s good to have Christmas
Again and again.
