Flowers Fade
Yes, there’s a time for flowers and dates and romance, but there’s also a time for serving the Lord and our fellowmen as missionaries, and time afterwards for courtship, marriage, and a lot of other wonderful blessings. But when we try to change the order the Lord has ordained, we cheat ourselves. The flowers in the most beautiful bouquet will fade, but the gifts you share on a mission will bless both giver and receiver forever. President Kimball has told us that every young man should fulfill a mission. Can you afford to deny yourself the blessings in store for those who obey his counsel?
