Heavenly Father Listens and Helps

Sometimes life is hard, lonely, or frightening. You can communicate with Heavenly Father through prayer, and He will respond with guidance and peace.

Becoming closer to Heavenly Father takes time and effort. But you have this promise from one of His prophets:

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” (Holy Bible, James 4:8).

You can draw closer to God by:

Talking to Him through prayer. You can express your feelings, thank Him, and ask for help, protection, and direction.
Reading about His teachings in the scriptures.
Attending meetings with members of His Church to learn more about Him.
