seminary iconPrepare Yourself Spiritually. The Savior prepared Himself spiritually to teach. We can follow His example. If you are spiritually prepared, you will be better able to hear and follow the guidance of the Spirit as you teach. To learn more of how the Savior prepared Himself spiritually, see “The Savior Prepared Himself Spiritually to Teach” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 16). The following activity can help you prepare spiritually. It will help you evaluate ways you are already applying principles of Christlike teaching, as well as help you make a goal for incremental improvements. See “Improving as a Christlike Teacher—A Personal Evaluation” (Teaching in the Savior’s Way [2022], 37).
