Jesus Was Born in Bethlehem

Luke 1:26–38; 2:1–20

An angel came to Mary and told her that God was happy with her. She was going to be Jesus’s mother!

Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem. It was almost time for Jesus to be born. So many people were visiting Bethlehem that Mary and Joseph couldn’t find a room to stay in. An innkeeper let them stay in a stable.

Soon Jesus was born. A bright new star appeared to tell everyone that the Light of the World had come to earth.

An angel told some shepherds that Jesus was born. They hurried to see the baby Jesus lying in a manger.

Jesus came to earth because He loves me. I will follow His light this Christmas and all year!
