Instructions for Curriculum 2018

Listed below are the materials for use in Sunday quorums and classes, not all of which are available in all languages. Wards and branches should already have many of these materials. New items for 2018 are highlighted.

Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society New for 2018	FIRST SUNDAY COUNCIL MEETING A presidency member or group leader leads members as they counsel together and make plans to meet local needs, using suggestions in Come, Follow Me—For Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society (Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2017, 137–44, or ComeFollowMe.lds.org). If Come, Follow Me—For Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society is not available in your language, topics for this council meeting can be determined by elders quorum, high priests group, and Relief Society leaders. Possible resources include the scriptures, Handbook 2: Administering the Church (08702), Church magazines, Daughters in My Kingdom: The History and Work of Relief Society (06500), Family Guidebook (31180), and other Church-approved resources.
SECOND AND THIRD SUNDAYS Members study, discuss, and apply general conference messages from the First Presidency, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other Church leaders, using suggestions in Come, Follow Me—For Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society (Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2017, 137–44, or ComeFollowMe.lds.org). If the general conference messages are not available in your language, either in the November 2017 Ensign or Liahona or on LDS.org, use Duties and Blessings of the Priesthood, Part B (31112) or The Latter-day Saint Woman, Part B (31114).
FOURTH SUNDAY Members study a doctrinal topic related to the work of the Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society, using suggestions in Come, Follow Me—For Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society (Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2017, 137–44, or ComeFollowMe.lds.org). If Come, Follow Me—For Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society is not available in your language, the First Presidency Messages and Visiting Teaching Messages may be used.
FIFTH SUNDAY Bishoprics or branch presidencies plan the meeting.
