“They Did Obey … Every Word of Command with Exactness”
As you study Alma 53 and Alma 56–58, look for principles the 2,060 young warriors followed and for characteristics they developed in their youth. Give particular attention to how these principles and qualities helped the young warriors receive strength from the Lord. Determine how you can apply these principles in your life.

Study the following scriptures about motherhood:

The young Ammonites asked the prophet Helaman to be their leader (Alma 53:19; 56:1, 5). How did they respond to the commands they received? (See Alma 57:21.) What are some specific things you must do to follow the prophet “with exactness”?

Tell the story of Helaman’s 2,060 young warriors (Alma 53; 56–58). Then have family members read some or all of the passages listed below. Talk about how family members can apply the principles taught in these passages.
